This is my second box from Fairyloot and I will definitely be subscribing to more of their boxes. After loving July’s Fairyloot box I decided to subscribe because the Steampunk theme for October sounded really interesting.
The artwork on the theme card is beautiful, I’m even contemplating framing it because its that nice to look at. I really love the design and the effort Fairyloot put into their boxes and it really makes unboxing the boxes even more special.
The first item was this The Infernal Devices magnetic bookmark, made by Happy Hello Inc.
I have not read The Infernal Devices but I really like this bookmark. Its made of really high quality material and I am using it already as a bookmark.
Another item in the box was this Clockwork Ring by Cogs and Curiosities.
I’m not a jewellery person but I’m sure I will be able to gift this to someone. The ring fits in with the theme of Steampunk with the cogs, and is very pretty to look at. The ring again is made of strong material and feels like it will last a while.
Another jewellery piece in the box is this stunning Mechanical Steampunk Necklace by Fairyloot.
The butterfly is a very eye-catching and very fashionable. Again I wont be using this myself but I can easily gift this to someone and I know they would absolutely love it.
This Clock Washi Tape by FairyLoot is a perfect addition to the box.
I have never had any journal tape in a subscription box before I think its a great item to include. Many people like journaling and this tape is perfect for that. The design of the cogs is ideal to use in any sort of journaling.
Another item in the box was an Exclusive Tea Towel by Read at Midnight.
Again this is an item that I have never got before, but I think its a great idea. Its something that most people use and they now have one with a quote from The Infernal Devices series.
This Exclusive Special Edition Elias Lip Balm from Behind The Pages was also featured in this months box.
I was surprised when I opened up the Lip Balm because it was gold and sparkly and it smelt wonderful.
The final bookish item in the box was this Exclusive Divergent Candle by Meraki Candles.
This is one of the best candles I have received from a subscription box. It smells delicious and refreshing and the scent lasts for ages, even when you have blown the candle out. I will definitely be buying more candles from Meraki Candles.
Finally the book!
The book for this months box was Metaltown by Kristen Simmons.
I had never heard of this book before, but after reading the description it sounds awesome and fits in with the Steampunk theme. Also with the book you got a signed bookplate, personalised letter and a badge.
I loved this months Fairyloot box, it had a mixture of items that would appeal to most book fans, and all the items related back to the Steampunk theme. With Fairyloot you know that the items you get are going to be made of high quality and are going to last, and with a book thrown in as well its absolutely worth the money. If you haven’t tried Fairyloot yet I would definitely recommend it everyone, the only problem is that they sell out really fast, so you have to be quick if you want one.
If you are thinking to subscribing to FairyLoot then I would suggest signing up to their Newsletter and they will get in conact with you with new themes and the date for when the boxes become available to order.
I have already ordered next months box and with the theme of Royals & Rogues, I’m really excited to unbox it.
